I don’t think the “the storylines come from them” means that Cory and Lea suggested that Finn and Rachel get engaged, lol. Chris seems to be the one who suggests something for Kurt and gets it written into the script, and also the physical aspects of the actors come out into the characters, like Jane explained. People may be reading a leeeetle too much into that statement.
